Members of the Etu Pasifika Canterbury team joined the Mana Pasifika Women’s Health event over the weekend, supporting an initiative focused on improving access to health services and encouraging Pacific women to prioritise their health and wellbeing.
The event provided a welcoming and culturally supportive space for women to access health screenings, engage with healthcare professionals and have open conversations about their health.
It was also an opportunity to strengthen community connections and encourage women to take proactive steps towards looking after their wellbeing.
The team enjoyed connecting with women and families throughout the day, alongside Screen South Ltd, who continue to play an important role in promoting access to screening services within Pacific communities.
