This week is Men’s Health Week – why do you think it’s important to talk about men’s health?

Men’s health tends to get overlooked or brushed under the table. I think it is a great reminder for men that it is okay to reach out and talk about their own health and wellbeing.

Why is health and well-being important to you?

It’s important to take care of ourselves so that we can continue to do the things we love.

What do you do to keep yourself healthy?

Make sure that my room is tidy so that my thoughts are clear. Also having a tidy room to come home to is super satisfying!

  What’s your go-to meal?

Rice, anything with rice.

Your favourite proverb/mantra/quote/song that keeps you feeling positive?

“You can be the master of your fate and the captain of your soul, but you have to realise that life is coming from you and not at you, and that takes time”.

What’s your favourite physical wellness activity?

Start the day off with a 10 – 15min walk.

What’s one wellness tip or piece of advice you can share to encourage others this week?

Check in with the people you love regularly.
