Etu Pasifika Canterbury is teaming up with a number of Pacific health providers in Canterbury for Tama'ita'i Soifua Maloloina 2026.
The event will be held on Saturday 17 October from 9am - 3pm at St Paul's Trinity Pacific Church. The purpose of the event is to bring together women of Christchurch's Samoan Ministers Fraternal to learn more about their health.
Samoan scientist Amy Maslen-Miller will be the guest speaker for the event, sharing about her research "Exploring the Samoan traditional diet to address onset of type 2 diabetes in Samoan women living in New Zealand."
