Etu Pasifika Canterbury holds first community vaccination drive of the year
The warmth of community spirit was on display at Riccarton High School as our Etu Pasifika Canterbury team held its first community vaccination drive for the year on Saturday 3 May 2025. Families and individuals turned out in strong numbers, showing their commitment to protecting themselves and their loved ones ahead of the flu season.

The event provided free flu, MMR, and Covid-19 immunisations, making it easy and accessible for Pacific families to get prepared for winter. Health professionals were on-site to offer information and administer vaccines in a friendly and culturally safe environment.

The event reflected Etu Pasifika’s ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, combining health services with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

As flu season approaches, Etu Pasifika Canterbury encourages anyone who missed the event to contact their local clinic to stay up to date with their immunisations.
