Dr Nick Giblin
Dr Nick Giblin is a General Practitioner who lives in Dunedin.

He has been a partner and director of the Broadway Medical Centre Dunedin Ltd for 25 years. Born in Hamilton, New Zealand to parents Frederick Manu Giblin from Levuka, Fiji and Joy Howell from Tolaga Bay on the East coast of the North Island. Nick attended Mount Maunganui Primary School, Suva Grammar School and was a boarder at Sacred Heart College Auckland for his last 3 years of school. He obtained a B.A and BSc in English Literature and Zoology from Otago University and was then nominated for a place at Otago Medical School as a Pacific Student by the late Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara. Nick graduated with MBChB in 1986. He worked as a junior doctor at Dunedin Hospital and then worked in primary healthcare for 2 years in Vatukoula, Fiji. In 1990 Nick returned to New Zealand and gained a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He decided that his passion was for General Practice so he joined the Broadway Medical Centre in Dunedin in 1991. Nick was awarded FRNZCGP in 1992 and he is currently working as a full time GP.
