Etu Pasifika, the largest health provider for Pacific families in Canterbury, is celebrating the milestone of a Cornerstone accreditation – a prestigious standard of excellence in which recipients have shown exemplary high standards for general medical practice in New Zealand.

Stormy weather and pouring rain did not stop the dedicated Etu Pasifika team from providing free flu vaccinations in a drive-thru clinic for Pasifika families living in the Canterbury area.

Samoan grandmother Christina Toleafoa, who is currently being treated for cancer, is like many in the community who is concerned with the threat of Covid-19.

Staff at the Christchurch based health provider, Etu Pasifika, have said they understand the community is concerned about the long-term impacts the Covid-19 lockdown will have on their families. But, they want to reassure families that their staff are ready and prepared to provide support post Covid-19.
