The Etu Pasifika Auckland team have been busy with their outreach engagements, championing health and wellbeing at several community health expo events.
Recently, they attended a Women's Health Expo in Manurewa, supporting the community with blood pressure checks, sugar tests and general health education. Of those that attended the expo, about 40 people saw the team for health checks and important conversations about women's health, diabetes, gout and blood pressure.
As we celebrate women's health week this week, these outreach opportunities provide a great platform to show our communities that health is wealth.
Their next outreach engagement will be on Saturday 15 August at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Ōtara, who are hosting a health expo for the community. Details can be found in the poster below!
