For the 2025 ProCare Kete Ora Practice Acknowledgement Awards, both our Auckland and South Auckland clinics were recognised for their commitment to improving health outcomes:
Etu Pasifika Auckland received 3rd in the Immunisation (2 years) category
Etu Pasifika South Auckland received 2nd place for Immunisation & Diabetes and 3rd place for Immunisation (8 months)
These awards reflect the work of our frontline staff, nurses, GPs, and support teams who go above and beyond every day to uplift the health and wellbeing of Pacific families.
We also honour Etu Pasifika South Auckland's Clinical Director, Dr Maryann Heather, who was awarded the President’s Service Medal at the 2025 Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) Awards. This recognition celebrates Dr Heather’s service, leadership, and advocacy for equitable Pacific healthcare.
We also acknowledge two of our own from Etu Pasifika Canterbury who graduated as Fellows of the RNZCGP:
Dr Leone Vadei
Dr Beaudicia Carrasco
Their achievements mark a significant milestone in their professional journeys and strengthen our collective impact in delivering high-quality, culturally grounded care.
We are so proud and grateful for our teams and their dedication to our Pacific families and communities.
